HEALTH CARE INSURANCE PROVIDERS

You might have your own healthcare policy, common policies exist with BUPA and AXA PPP, or you may have a healthcare employee assistance policy from where you work. Employee assistance policies often provide cover for your partner and family members.

 

All clinicians at Reigate Psychology Service (RPS) are registered with the principle healthcare insurance providers.

 

It is important to check your policy to see what is covered as many providers set limits as to the number of sessions you can receive. You may also have to pay an excess payment when activating your cover.

 

Insurance companies provide cover in different ways so you may find it helpful to contact your provider to find out how you might access treatment at RPS. A typical procedure for payments by an insurance provider is as follows:

 

  1. Contact your insurance company to find out how you might be able to access psychological treatment.
  2. You might be able to refer yourself directly to RPS, or need a referral from your GP or via a psychiatrist. A referral letter is typically a few sentences outlining current difficulties and a request to be seen.
  3. a pre-authorisation number from your insurance provider.
  4. Contact RPS to arrange an appointment, by using the form on the ‘Contact’ page of the website or by telephoning 07412 674 550.

 

We are registered with:

Bupa, Axa PPP Healthcare, Psych Health, SimplyHealth, Aviva and Cigna.

 

IF YOUR PROVIDER IS NOT LISTED HERE, LET US KNOW AND WE CAN REGISTER WITH THEM AS REQUIRED.

RPS subscription service

Reigate Psychology Service (RPS) offers ongoing email treatment, support, and advice for people who have completed an assessment or more typically a brief treatment intervention.

 

This service provides a cost effective solution for people who would like to maintain some contact with their therapist, but who find it difficult to commit to further sessions.

 

The cost of this service is £20.00 per month. This entitles you to approximately one email conversation a week and any associated attachments. We aim to respond to any email within 2 working days, with the exception of annual leave.

 

Please note this is a continuous payment authority and you will need to inform us, preferably by email, that you no longer want this service.

 

If you would like to take up this service, please discuss with your therapist first, either in session, by telephone or email. Once you have done this, subscription can be activated by clicking on the PayPal button below and completing the instructions. We will automatically be informed when you have done this.
