Senior Clinical Psychologist

Doctorate in Clinical Psychology

I work with adults with a range of difficulties that are impacting their life, including low mood, anxiety (including phobias, panic, social anxiety), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and low self-esteem. I offer time-limited, evidence-based therapy to support you. When we first meet, we will spend some time exploring what difficulties you are currently experiencing, what has led to this and what may be keeping these difficulties going. I adopt an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on a range of therapies according to your needs, goals and what is important to you.

Please note I work with adults aged 18 plus only.

My story

I’ve always been passionate about supporting others, which led to me pursuing a career as a psychologist. I gained my degree in Psychology at Coventry University and a master’s in Forensic Psychology at Middlesex University. I then completed a professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey.

I have extensive experience of working in Perinatal Mental Health Teams and Adult Mental Health Teams in the NHS. This professional experience, and my own personal experience of recurrent miscarriages, led to a passion for supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties in relation to their maternity experience and/or the perinatal period, including:

Antenatal/Postnatal Depression

Antenatal/Postnatal Anxiety

Birth Trauma

Trauma following pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal or infant death
