Dr Jaime Jonsson
Clinical Psychologist
I am here to help you with whatever arises in your life, big or small, long term or short term. If you are feeling that you can´t manage, have trouble sleeping, worrying, life feels lonely or it is hard to get up on a morning, I am here to work with you towards a more fulfilling and happier life. I offer an online service which is flexible, compassionate, confidential and friendly.
My story
I was born in England and grew up in a tiny village on the North East coast. I work privately at home, online. I have always been interested in caring for others and understanding and empathising with the problems of other people. To actually be able to help others who are facing difficulties, in a professional role, became an aspiration of mine early in my life.
I have worked in different settings within the NHS and healthcare settings within Sweden. I can speak fluent Swedish. I enjoy working with all kinds of problems within adult mental health and I work eclectically, tailoring the therapy to suit the individual.
Therapies
I offer a range of psychological therapies, including:
Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) including Mindfulness
Accreditations and Registrations
