About Vicki Johnstone (she/her)

I have always been told I am a warm, empathic, down-to-earth and non-judgemental person, with whom people feel at ease.  I am a senior practitioner with 20 years of clinical experience within private, charitable, voluntary, judicial, health and social care sectors.  I’m skilled at working with people throughout their lives; children and young adults currently make up most of my caseload, but I’m more than happy to work with people through adulthood and into older age too. I am open, honest, inclusive and respectful of diversity and able to provide evidence-based, compassionate support for a wide range of difficulties.

My approach

My approach is very much relationship based and I work collaboratively to build practical skills and adaptive strengths that can have a multitude of life-long applications.

I offer a range of psychological therapies:

  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Compassion Focused Therapy

We discovered the Reigate Psychology Service when our daughter 15 was in dire need of support and we were introduced to the wonderful Vicki who has been amazing with my daughter. She instantly put her at ease and gave her the confidence to open up and she really looks forward to her sessions now. It’s early days but we are already seeing the benefits.
